ACTG 384: A Protocol for Newly-Diagnosed Patients

Our ACTU has a very important protocol, ACTG 384, for persons infected with HIV who have not yet taken any treatment for the virus itself (antiretroviral therapy). The study is designed to determine what types of drugs are best to start with, how many drugs to use, and what to switch to if the first choices aren’t working. Up to three years of free treatment drugs are provided and also frequent free lab tests. Please call us at 612-625-1462 for further information.
