On Friday, April 6, Community Program Associate, Debra Smith, conducted an educational session during the HIV Comprehensive Case Management Core Training. This core training was a requirement for all HIV Case Management programs and providers receiving Ryan White funding in the state of MN. Debra was responsible for training the group on the specifics of clinical trial participation. She was educated the group on the history of the ACTG, how individuals can access our research program as well as gave an overview of the protocols open for enrollment at the MN ACTU. The presentation was well received by the case managers in attendance with most feeling more able and comfortable in referring clients to our program.
