Fall CAB Forum: Winning the Game of Long-Term Survival

The MN ACTU Community Advisory Board, in conjunction with its community partners, is hosting its 15th quarterly community forum on Thursday, September 22. Held at Park House (2120 Park Ave in Minneapolis) from 6-8:30 pm, this forum is designed for HIV+ individuals and their caregivers/partners. The theme for the event is “Winning the Game of Long Term Survival” and important lessons will be shared for both newly diagnosed and long-term survivors of HIV. here will be a panel consisting of a local HIV physician (Dr. R. Schut), two long-term survivors (a man and a woman) and an HIV-negative long-term partner of an individual with HIV. Dinner will be served. All participants will be presented with gifts to assist them on their journey with this disease and, as usual, a raffle will be held. We encourage all HIV+ individuals – men, women, young and old – who can attend to do so. There will be a lesson to take home for everyone.
