Influenza A is circulating in the Twin Cities area but documented cases have been sporadic. Nationwide, the story is much the same. The predominant strain is Influenza A H3N2. Both Influenza A H1N1 and Influenza B have been identified in the United States, but they comprise less than 10% of the flu strains circulating this respiratory virus season. Parainfluenza and RSV are also causing some illnesses locally.
